Part of our role as GIPHY’s Brand team was to define and direct their original content library. Everything from off-the-cuff GIFs filmed with staff members, to full-on productions with celebrities to launch new products.
Visually, shoots often explored a new corner of pop culture, cribbing tropes and aesthetics to create loops that felt pulled from a long forgotten show or commercial. Holistically, we filled the library with reactions that ranged from helpful to heartfelt, with hundreds becoming viral reactions and integral to the way the internet expresses itself.
