We had the honor of directing this experimental, long-form roast of the hated mascot. Featuring TikTok comedians like QPC, Farah Shams, Leenda Dong, Keemokazi, and some of Duo’s co-workers, the shoot's loose visual language allowed edges of the set and menacing elements to bleed into the frame, and used janky visual effects to mirror the semi-improvised chaos of the shoot.
Production design took the roast literally, with Duo seated on a BBQ Throne, and performers waiting at a green picnic table of props for them to riff and react to.
