To coincide with the inclusion of GIPHY Stickers in Instagram stories, we created a first-to-market animated collection of the most shared emojis - along with some strange new ones.
We used GIPHY's color palette and a soft-plastic texture to make the set feel familiar yet defensible. Looping sweet spots that were always legible meant never having to wait too long for an action or gag to hit, and kept the library snappy and shareable.
The final collection of 89 emoji has been viewed more than 21B times across Messages and Instagram Stories.
