We were approached by Pixie Chess - an online game that mixes traditional chess with the collectability and strategy of trading card games - to design every touchpoint of their brand, including 50 new chess pieces.
In the year leading up to launch, we crafted a brand-world we dubbed Block Chain Mail: equal parts hi-tech financial system and high fantasy dungeon. Competitive, magical, and unmistakable.
Launch animations ranged from explainer videos to a cinematic trailer co-directed with CRCR, with 650k views and 100k likes on Instagram.
